PODCAST: Goals | How to Set Goals and achieve your Vision
With the new year, and the past year having presented so many challenges, the ability to move ahead with your goals is imperative. It sets the future, moves us beyond the past, and allows you to achieve that which seems unattainable. But how do you effectively set and achieve your goals? Interestingly, I get quite often from the companies we engage with and leaders looking for answers to increasing innovation, productivity, or efficiency. The realization when they fall flat on their face and do not know who to recover. This scenario reflects the real world, where only 8% of those who set goals achieve them.
In my new Visionary Chronicles PODCAST, Goals | How to Set Goals, and achieve your Vision, I tackle this question, providing insightful principles on setting goals properly and executing them through a step by step process.Setting realistic or unrealistic goals, they must be challenging but attainable. Here are several proven Principles shown to work by the ELITE 8%;
1. Change your daily Habits or Routines to enhance productivity. Look at your daily/hourly routine, disrupt it to find more time.2. Be realistic with your Goals, but offer up a Stretch to achieving it. They must be attainable, but only through sweat and failures along the way. Give everyone a sense of accomplishment. 3. Find support where needed after analyzing your daily Habits/Routine. You can not achieve Success consistently without some help…find it.4. Take Two Steps Forward and one Step back. The path to Success is not a straight line, step back and evaluate the way forward. 5. Share Success, Embrace Failure. Failure is your pathway to eventual Success.6. Move out of the Status quo to realize your Vision. Break free from Habits, change your routine to be more effective. Also, don't multi-task; your brain likes to complete one path before moving on to another.7. Realize progress, find what works and what does not. Do more of what works and less of what does not. Simple, but powerful!8. Have Faith, know you are not alone—calming influence in turbulent times.9. Adapt. Times change, be ready to make your move. Covid should be a lesson learned when being prepared to Adapt.10. Always be moving forward. When you take two steps forward, just do not take three back.
Concluding and summarizing these principles, you will find roadblocks, and barriers to achieving eventual Success, just stick to your path no matter how rocky. The old cliché holds, if it were easy, everyone would do it.Set definitive goals, change your habits, find support along the way, and have Faith that all things will work together for good.

Loyalty Loop | How to Engage beyond Purchase
A brand's ability to engage, provide value, create loyalty, and build a community is correlated with their ability to create a complete product lifecycle buying experience…
The Loyalty Loop…
Gone are the days when the traditional purchase funnel remains effective (Awareness, Consider, Evaluate, and Purchase). Those who choose to engage with customers beyond purchase understand this is the most critical time when building a long-term relationship.
With e-comm becoming an integral segment of a brand's future revenue stream, their ability to seamlessly and authentically engage post-purchase builds loyalty. Loyalty can not be purchased, it is earned, earned through providing value beyond purchase, and personalizing their brand experience. It is not enough to create Awareness, you must build Loyalty. Loyalty is what creates Communities, and Advocates for the brand itself. The lifeblood and the growth of a brand will be realized through loyal communities, those who enjoy the brand experience and advocate their products.
This new way of engaging through the Loyalty Loop is to take the Traditional purchase funnel, and close the loop;
Traditional (STATIC)1. Awareness2. Consideration3. Evaluate4. Purchase
Loyalty Loop (DYNAMIC)1. Enjoy2. Advocate 3. Bond
Each touchpoint beyond purchase is critical to brand/product growth, whether a good or bad experience, it is always best to proactively engage beyond purchase, making the consumer feel you care for them personally.
